3 Doors Down: A Biography

The original members of the lyrical group 3 Doors Down were raised in the small quarter of Escatawpa, Mississippi, and premier included vocalist/drummer Brad Arnold, instrumentalist Matt Roberts, and bassist Character Harrell.

They began as efficient rock trio in 1994, performing at a friend’s backyard band. Their name was chosen fend for they saw a broken fabrication in Foley, Alabama, which recite “Doors Down.” Since they were a three piece band, they added 3 and became 3 Doors Down.
